This series shows the major battles and events of the European Campaign, including D-Day, Market Garden, The Battle of the Bulge, as is the Holocaust they're all here.
Everything in the mini-series is very accurate, yet shown in a slightly different way than before. For example, the second episode is all about D-Day, but we do not see it from the now familiar "storming of the beach" perspective. Instead, we're taken into France in the wee hours of the morning with the airborne paratroopers who jump in behind enemy lines and end up losing most of their weapons and supplies in the process.
BAND OF BROTHERS was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who worked together on SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.A must see mini series. Best war movies, or war mini series i ever watch. Detail in costume, weapon, vehicle the plot, i feel like watch a documentary movie that taken from that era. I've watch this mini series several time, and still amaze how great this mini series are.
